About Colleen Carney
Colleen Carney is a published fashion and beauty photographer based in Chicago, IL.
She has been involved in fashion photography since 2012. She started her interest in photography in Saint Louis, her hometown, during her senior year of high school. Since she had a strong interest in illustration at the time, Colleen wanted to try using cameras to bring her creative visions to life. Her work started with mostly flowers and sunsets photos for her mom to put in their home but her obsession with Zooey Deschanel’s fashion sense brought her into her love for fashion photography. She pursued a degree in commercial photography before completing her associate’s degree and taking her skills to the real world. She then moved to Chicago to pursue her career in photography and is currently freelancing with a focus on commercial and fashion work.
